Does the Navy have any use for landscape architects or urban designers?

Landscape architects DO NOT cut grass.
I have a BA in Art History, 2 professional degrees (Master of Landscape Architecture and a Master of Urban Design).

  1. Captain Bligh could have used you, but you’re 2 centuries late.

  2. Navy Construction Battalions have civil engineers.

  3. Nope.

That sort of stuff is either contracted out to civilian firms. The United States Army Corps of Engineers is charged as the executive agent for major military construction supervision over those civilian agencies. For some projects, the Navy’s Civil Engineering Corps will have oversight.

Bottom Line: if you want to cut crass (landscape architecture), then there is a place for you under the title of extra duty.

  4. Sorry, not a lot of landscaping on an aircraft carrier.

  5. where do you get a Master of Landscape and Master of Urban Design degree?

I bet i could make 1 that looks legit in photoshop in about twenty minutes and still charge you the same amount of money as you paid.
