  1. You can pour concrete over grass and it will not affect performance. However, you should really put down a gravel base before pouring the concrete or it will not hold up longterm.

  2. your supposed to pour concrete on a hard, tampered surface. if it’s grass, then your supposed to put a layer of gravel down first and tamper it down to compact it. then pour concrete WITH rebar mesh wire.

  3. No because grass will decompose in time leaving voids under the concrete. You should remove the grass roots and all. Then tamp and compact the soil depending on where you live you may even need gravel.

  4. If you want it to last dig out the grass and topsoil then tamp the subsoil. The concrete contractor will tell you if you need a footing or not. I would definately install re-bar.

  5. Yes, you have to remove it.

Otherwise, once the grass decomposes, you will have voids.
Causing the concrete to crack, destablise from being on anuneven surface, and eventually bits of concrete breaking away.

You need a gravel base, and wire mesh.

  6. so you are really put down a gravel base before pouring the concrete.so just you can pour concrete over grass and it will not affect performance.so it is the best option to them.
