  1. Try spraying it with WD40, it works on the soles of shoes.

  2. Try lighter fluid. Keep it away from flame. Try a tiny bit first to see if it works and to make sure there is no damage to the flagstone. Another thing to try is finger nail polish remover.

  3. Get a plastic baggie. Put 1 large ice cube in the bag. Place the bag over the chewing gum.
    Once the chewing gum freezes it will come up easily with a butter knife or a plastic spatula.

    There are some solvents that would work, but they may leave a spot on the flagstone.
