Did atheism start to exist by the time of the French revolution?

I do not recall anyone remembering atheism existed before

Maybe atheism started existing with the Illuminati, a conspiracy group created by masonry that started the age of Illuminism

  1. There were atheists in ancient Greece, and, even if they weren’t documented, I’m sure they have been around for longer than that too.

  2. Every baby that has ever been born was an atheist. It’s always existed.

  3. People have called themselves Atheists since the 18th century. Of course the lack of belief in gods has always existed.

  4. religion started as 1 big, overrated sarcastic joke somewhere 100k BC

  5. Many of the Greek Philosophers almost 3000 years ago were atheist.

  6. Not a single individual in 6000 years of civilization thought to question the existence of a deity until the 19th century. That’s what my pastor told me.

  7. Wow, u really need to get that imagination of yours checked out, its pathetic. Atheism has Always existed as long as there was a god or gods to not believe in and that my friend has been the case for the human race since the beginning. Look up Aminism, Pantheism and then look up all those silly Greek gods, they used to call Christains atheists for not believing Zues and so on. Atheism is nothing new. Sure its much more popular these days but back when the very first human created the very first god there was thr very first atheists dying for their disbelieve (aka honesty).

  8. There have always been human beings who didn’t believe in deities. It has not always been safe to say that 1 didn’t believe.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
    Then he’s not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
    Then he’s malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
    Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
    Then why call him God?
